Bellamine Usage: it pill is used to relieve symptoms about certain stomach/intestinal disorders such as 'nervous stomach'; symptoms of menopause including hot flashes (flushes), sweats, restlessness & insomnia; certain types of throbbing headaches; & certain heart/blood vessel disorders such as heart palpitations or rapid heart rate.
How to use Bellamine: Take this medication by mouth, usually one in morning & one in evening, or take as directed by you're physician. do not use daily on a regular basis.
Bellamine side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, nausea, constipation, heartburn, nervousness, headache, flushing, dry mouth, change in taste perception, increased sensitivity to light or a bloated feeling may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're pharmacist. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, difficulty urinating, confusion, tremor, restlessness, skin rash, fever. in the unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.
Bellamine Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: heart problems, liver problems, glaucoma, urinary problems, Parkinson's disease, muscle problems (myasthenia gravis), ulcers, any allergies you may have. Because it drug may make you dizzy or drowsy, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption. this combination product must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your physician immediately. this drug is excreted in to breast milk & may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Bellamine drug interactions: Infrequently, very serious, life-threatening decrease in amount of blood supply to hands & feet (peripheral ischemia) & rarely to brain can occur when it medication is taken with meds that affect liver metabolism (e.g., potent CYP 3A4 enzyme inhibitors). do not take this med with macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin, clarithromycin, troleandomycin), HIV protease inhibitors (e.g., retonavir, nelfinavir, indinavir, amprenavir, saquinavir), azole antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole). Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially of: digoxin, cyclosporine, saquinavir, ritonavir, sleep medicines, 'triptan' pills (e.g., sumatriptan), beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol), St John's wort, nefazodone, fluconazole, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, zileuton, clotrimazole, other mild CYP 3A4 enzyme inhibitors. Tell your physician if you take any drugs that make you drowsy, such as: tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), tranquilizers, certain antihistamines found in cold medicines (e.g., diphenhydramine). Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while using this drug unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. it drug may interfere with effectiveness about birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with you're doctor. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or physician approval.
Bellamine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include blurred vision, dilated pupils, hot & dry skin, dizziness, dryness of mouth, & slow or shallow breathing.
Bellamine special notes: do not share it medication with others.
If you missed Bellamine dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Bellamine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
