Simethicone Usage: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles at the digestive tract. It's used to relieve symptoms about excess gas & flatulence.

How to use Simethicone: Take this drug by mouth as prescribed, usually after meals & at bedtime. Shake well before measuring each dose. These drops may be swallowed directly or mixed with water. for infants, use only as directed by their healthcare professional.

Simethicone side effects: this pill is generally well tolerated when used as directed. there no reports of any side effects due to this medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Simethicone Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this med. it isnt known if simethicone passes into breast milk. Though there have been no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before using this drug.

Simethicone drug interactions: Tell some your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take including any antacids or digestive tablet since several combination products may also contain simethicone. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Simethicone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Simethicone special notes: If you experience problems with gas, limit foods known to cause gas and bloating such as beans, cabbage, broccoli & peanuts. Ask your healthcare professional or dietician for help in reviewing you're diet.

If you missed Simethicone dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Simethicone Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Drops may also be stored in the refrigerator to improve taste. don't store in bathroom.
