Pharmasin Usage: this drug is used to relieve dry cough & helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in the lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Pharmasin: Take each dose of this medication with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up mucous and clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. don't take this medication for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your doctor. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your physician.
Pharmasin side effects: this tablet may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre pharmacist. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Pharmasin Precautions: If you have any about following health problems, consult your pharmacist before using this medication: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician. this isn't known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.
Pharmasin drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all the medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: other cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect the results about certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers are aware you use it medicine before lab tests performed. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.
Pharmasin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.
Pharmasin special notes: this drug comes in a variety about dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting meds or capsules and a syrup. Ask your healthcare professional or physician to recommend the best product for you.
If you missed Pharmasin dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Pharmasin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this pill. don't store syrup at the refrigerator.
