Guaifenesin Dextromethorphan Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with the common cold, allergies & another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Guaifenesin Dextromethorphan: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules & long-acting pills must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.
Guaifenesin Dextromethorphan side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur 1'st some days as you're body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop any of these effects while taking it drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this medication makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
