    Nts Usage: it drug is used as an aid to stop smoking. it is most effective when used in conjunction with stop smoking program.

    How to use Nts: the patch should be applied to clean, dry, non-hairy region on trunk or upper arm. bucks with manufacturer's patient instruction sheet since specific recommended areas about patch application. If necessary, clip hair from the site prior to applying patch. Remove patch from package, peel off the protective strip & immediately apply it to the site. Press firmly for 10 to 20 seconds to make sure patch stays in place. Be sure the edges held firmly to skin. Wash youre hands after applying the patch. Different brands of nicotine patches vary in the length about clock the patch is left on the skin (e.g., for 24 hours or only while awake). Consult you're pharmacist or pharmacist regarding youre specific patch and your condition (including cravings, vivid dreams etc.). Remove the patch carefully & dispose of it properly. Apply each new patch to different area to prevent skin irritation. do not suddenly stop using this med with out your pharmacists approval. your dose may need to be gradually decreased. You must stop smoking before using patches and continue not to smoke while using this drug.

    Nts side effects: this medication can cause headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea or flushing 1'st few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. If area around patch becomes red, itchy or irritated, try new site. If the irritation continues or becomes worse, notify your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, nervousness, anxiety, tremors. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.

    Nts Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: heart disease, high blood pressure, insulin-dependent diabetes. this medication isn't recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult youre doctor for details. Nicotine passes into breast milk & has had undesirable effects on nursing infants. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Nts drug interactions: Inform youre doctor about all medicines you use (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: insulin, beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol), propoxyphene, xanthines (e.g., theophylline). do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Nts Overdose: If overdose is suspected, remove the patch. Contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, excessive saliva, stomach pain, sweating, headache, dizziness, confusion, weakness, fainting, difficulty breathing, seizures, rapid/weak/ irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, diarrhea, hearing problems.

    Nts special notes: Keep this and every pills out about the reach of children & away from pets. a used patch should be discarded by folding it in half with the sticky sides facing each other. used patch should then be placed at the opened pouch or aluminum foil & thrown in the garbage. do not allow children access to the discarded patch.

    If you missed Nts dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Nts Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
