Maalox Anti Gas Usage: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the digestive tract. this medication is used to relieve symptoms of excess gas. it has also been used at the management of infant colic.

How to use Maalox Anti Gas: Take this drug by mouth as prescribed usually after meals and in bedtime. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing to be most effective.

Maalox Anti Gas side effects: this drug is generally well tolerated when used as directed. their are no reports of any side effects due to it medication. However, if you experience any adverse effects while taking this tablet, notify your pharmacist.

Maalox Anti Gas Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially med allergies). Tell some your pharmacist if you are pregnant before using this tablet. It's not known if simethicone passes at to breast milk. Though there have been no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before using this drug.

Maalox Anti Gas medication interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including any antacids or digestive med since few combination products may also contain simethicone. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.

Maalox Anti Gas Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Maalox Anti Gas special notes: If you experience problems with gas, limit foods known to cause gas & bloating such as beans, cabbage, broccoli & peanuts. Ask your physician or dietician since help in reviewing your diet.

If you missed Maalox Anti Gas dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Maalox Anti Gas Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in bathroom.
