Neomycin/polymyxin/hydrocortisone - otic suspension

Cort Biotic Usage: it medication is used to treat certain infections of outer ear.
How to use Cort Biotic: for best effects, it drug must be used as directed. Continue using it since the full time prescribed. Stopping it medication too soon may not clear infection and could possibly result in a reinfection. do not use this med more much times or continue to use this for longer then directed. Apply ear drops to the affected ears as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper tip or let it touch your ear. If the med has been refrigerated, hold bottle in your hand for a some minutes to warm this. Shake container well for 10 seconds before using. Lie on your side or tilt the affected ear up. Place dropper directly over ear and administer the prescribed number of drops. To help drops roll into the ear, in adults, hold earlobe up & back and at kid, hold earlobe down and back. Keep head tilted for of two minutes or insert soft cotton plug if directed to do so. do not rinse the dropper.
Cort Biotic side effects: this med may temporarily sting or burn your ear for a minute or two when applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness/swelling/pain in or around ears. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Cort Biotic Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: other infections, allergies (especially to antibiotics or sulfites). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. Although unlikely, absorption in to the body of the hydrocortisone at it product may occur during topical application. Therefore, consult with your physician before breast-feeding.
Cort Biotic tablet interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Cort Biotic Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Cort Biotic special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a several days, consult you're healthcare professional.
If you missed Cort Biotic dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use this if this is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Cort Biotic Storage: it may be stored in refrigerator or in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
