Alertness Aid Usage: Caffeine is stimulant that is used to help keep you awake & alert. it is also used for certain types of headaches.
How to use Alertness Aid: Take this medication by mouth as directed. do not increase the dose, take this more often than prescribed or continue using it for prolonged periods.
Alertness Aid side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, tremor, headache, lightheadedness may occur. large amounts of caffeine may aggravate ulcers, cause frequent urination, flushing, muscle twitch or irritability. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: dizziness, depression, rapid breathing, chest pain, confusion, fatigue. Abrupt stopping of caffeine intake after several weeks of regular daily use may cause withdrawal symptoms such as headache, anxiety or muscle tension within 12 to 18 hours. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.
Alertness Aid Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: heart disease, diabetes, anxiety disorders, depression, ulcers, allergies. this drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're doctor. since small amounts about this drug appear in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Alertness Aid med interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: cimetidine, disulfiram, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin, birth control pills, diet pills, decongestants, if you smoke. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Alertness Aid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include stomach pain, anxiety, agitation, confusion, irregular or quick heartbeat, frequent urination, muscle twitching, ringing in ears, trouble sleeping, & seizures.
Alertness Aid special notes: this tablet isn't substitute for normal sleep patterns. it isnt to be taken on routine basis. Be aware of the caffeine content in foods & beverages such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, cocoa & chocolate.
If you missed Alertness Aid dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time since next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Alertness Aid Storage: Store away from heat, light and moisture. do not store in bathroom.
