Guaifenesin W Pseudoephedrine Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Guaifenesin W Pseudoephedrine: Take this medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this tablet as directed. do not increase dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

Guaifenesin W Pseudoephedrine side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1'st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. Guaifenesin W Pseudoephedrine drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, medication for high blood pressure. Tell youre physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Guaifenesin W Pseudoephedrine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
