Decongestant/narcotic antitussive/antihistamine - oral
Ed Tlc Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Ed Tlc: Take this pill as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. this drug is best taken with full glass about water after a meal or snack.
Ed Tlc side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur first some days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Ed Tlc Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history about drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this drug causes you to feel drowsy. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this med are found in breast milk, consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Ed Tlc drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain tablet (e.g., codeine). Limit some your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Ed Tlc Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.
Ed Tlc special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Ed Tlc dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Ed Tlc Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at the bathroom.
