    Eye lubricant - ophthalmic

    Tears PLUS Usage: it pill is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.

    How to use Tears PLUS: Use this medication at eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top of ointment tube or let it touch you're eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. see downward & gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger in corner of the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the pill from draining away from the eye. for ointment, hold tube directly over eye & gently squeeze small ribbon of the ointment into eye. Slowly roll youre eye in all directions to spread the ointment. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

    Tears PLUS side effects: this med may temporarily sting your eyes when 1st applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome or the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within few days, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily unstable for several minutes after applying this. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Tears PLUS Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell your healthcare professional if you pregnant before using it drug. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult your doctor before you breast-feed.

    Tears PLUS drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may use, especially of: other eye drug. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Tears PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Tears PLUS special notes: several products contain preservatives which may cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss various products with youre health care professional.

    If you missed Tears PLUS dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if this is near the time since the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Tears PLUS Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard this if solution is not clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
