Stool softeners/stimulant combination laxatives - oral

Laxa Basic PLUS Usage: this drug is used for short-term treatment of constipation.

How to use Laxa Basic PLUS: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this med. Laxatives shouldnot be used at persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Laxa Basic PLUS side effects: it medication can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. this pill can cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. don't be alarmed. it is not harmful. Notify your doctor if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.

Laxa Basic PLUS Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. this medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Consult youre doctor before using any medication while breast-feeding.

Laxa Basic PLUS drug interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of few medications, It's important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Laxa Basic PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Laxa Basic PLUS special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, this is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase some your intake about fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Laxa Basic PLUS dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if Its near the time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Laxa Basic PLUS Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture. do not store in bathroom.
