G P 1200 60 Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use G P 1200 60: Take this med by mouth. it must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
G P 1200 60 side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first some days as you're body adjusts to tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
G P 1200 60 Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. this isn't known if this med appears in breast milk; consult your physician before breast-feeding.
G P 1200 60 tablet interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, pill for high blood pressure. Tell your pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or pharmacist approval.
G P 1200 60 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
G P 1200 60 special notes: don't share this product with others.
If you missed G P 1200 60 dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time since next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
G P 1200 60 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
