Diphtheria Tetanus Toxoid Usage: this medication is given to provide protection (immunity) against diphtheria & tetanus disease at child from 2 months about age up to seven years of age.
How to use Diphtheria Tetanus Toxoid: it tablet is injected into a muscle by a health care professional. It's usually given in the upper arm or in the upper thigh muscle. this vaccination is routinely administered in 2, 4, 6 & 15 or 18 months of age as indicated in the recommended immunization schedule for infants & kid. If you have an infection at the time, some your pharmacist may select to delay vaccination until you are better. Booster injections may be required at the time about injury in older kid & adults if it has been 5-10 years since last tetanus vaccine was received.
Diphtheria Tetanus Toxoid side effects: this pill may cause irritation, redness, swelling, warmth, itching, bruising, pain and hard lump at injection site which lasts few days up to a week. another side effects include low grade fever, chills, headache, muscle or joint aches, general body discomfort, flushing or itching. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform you're physician. Notify youre doctor if any of the following occur after vaccination with it medication: tingling about hands or feet, rapid heart rate, high fever, trouble swallowing, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
