Novolog Usage: Insulin aspart is used to treat diabetes mellitus. like another insulin products, this works by helping sugar (glucose) get into cells. However, insulin aspart is faster acting than other insulin but works for a shorter period about time. Insulin aspart is usually used in combination with medium or long-acting insulin product. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent heart disease, strokes, kidney disease, circulation problems, and blindness.

Drinking alcohol may affect youre blood sugar level. Limit alcoholic beverages. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.
