Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. it combination drug is used to treat cough associated with the common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan: Take this pill as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take this more many times than directed. Capsules and long-acting pills must be swallowed whole with a full glass about water. don't crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.
Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop any of these effects while taking this med: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this med makes you feel dizzy. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan med interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.
Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Guaifenesin W Dextromethorphan Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store at bathroom.
