Deconsal Ii Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Phenylephrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Deconsal Ii: Take it medication by mouth. tablets should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Deconsal Ii side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because this tablet can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Deconsal Ii Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risk & benefits with your physician. Its not known if this drug appears at breast milk; consult you're physician before breast-feeding.
Deconsal Ii medication interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, med for high blood pressure. Tell your doctor if you have, in the last 2 weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Deconsal Ii Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, numbness of the fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.

If you missed Deconsal Ii dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Deconsal Ii Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
