    Guaifenesin - oral

    Simular Drugs : Tussin Cough, Tussin Cough & Cold, Tussin Cough Cold, Tussin Cough Cold, Tussin Cough Expectorant, Tussin Cough Formula

    Tussin Cough Usage: this med is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in the lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.

    How to use Tussin Cough: Take each dose of it tablet with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty about fluids while taking this med, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. do not take it drug for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by youre pharmacist. If cough lasts for more then one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your physician.

    Tussin Cough side effects: this med can cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Tussin Cough Precautions: If you have any of following health problems, consult your physician before using this pill: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. it tablet should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your pharmacist. this is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Tussin Cough drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: other cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect results of certain lab tests. Be sure you're caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests performed. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Tussin Cough Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.

    Tussin Cough special notes: this medication comes at a variety of dose forms such as pills, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules & syrup. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist to recommend best product for you.

    If you missed Tussin Cough dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Tussin Cough Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms of this medication. don't store syrup in refrigerator.
