    Guaifenesin/dextromethorphan/decongestant - oral

    Robafen Cf Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination medication is used to treat cough and relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Robafen Cf: this medication is best taken with a full glass of water after meal or snack. Swallow long acting pills & capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because the long action will be destroyed & the chance about side effects will be increased. Take this med as prescribed. do not increase you're dose or take this more many times than directed.

    Robafen Cf side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify some your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

    Robafen Cf Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any medication allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this pill should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. it medication may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Robafen Cf medication interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medications you use, especially: drug for blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit you're intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this pill. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.

    Robafen Cf Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of the eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or fast heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, large pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.

    Robafen Cf special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Robafen Cf dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. don't double the dose to catch up.

    Robafen Cf Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
