Deconsal Ii Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Deconsal Ii: Take this drug by mouth. this should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the med. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. don't increase dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Deconsal Ii side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first some days as youre body adjusts to med. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. Deconsal Ii Precautions: Tell you're physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. it is not known if this med appears in breast milk; consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Deconsal Ii tablet interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, medication for hypertension. Tell you're doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Deconsal Ii Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

If you missed Deconsal Ii dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time since following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
