Lax W Stool Softener Usage: this medication is used for the short-term treatment of constipation.

How to use Lax W Stool Softener: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice and drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Lax W Stool Softener side effects: this pill may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. it drug may cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. it isnt harmful. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Lax W Stool Softener Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. it drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. Consult your pharmacist before using any drug while breast-feeding.

Lax W Stool Softener drug interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of some medications, this is important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Lax W Stool Softener Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss about appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums and eyes.

Lax W Stool Softener special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, this is important to drink plenty about fluids (4 to six eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake about fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Lax W Stool Softener dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Lax W Stool Softener Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
