Lax Stool Softener Usage: this medication helps fluids to mix with the stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. this is used to treat constipation.

How to use Lax Stool Softener: Swallow capsules & pills whole with a full glass of water or juice. the liquid and syrup forms must be given in 6 to 8 ounces of milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained at 1 to 3 days after 1'st dose.

Lax Stool Softener side effects: this pill can cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify some your healthcare professional if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use about laxatives can cause dehydration & loss about essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using this medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or healthcare professional.

Lax Stool Softener Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by your doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any another nonprescription medication) without obtaining your doctor's advice.
