Guaifenesin Pse Sr Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Guaifenesin Pse Sr: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. do not increase dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Guaifenesin Pse Sr side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1-st some days as you're body adjusts to the tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're physician. Notify you're physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Guaifenesin Pse Sr Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your physician. it is not known if this med appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Guaifenesin Pse Sr medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, drug for HBP. Tell youre healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors at last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Guaifenesin Pse Sr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Guaifenesin Pse Sr dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Guaifenesin Pse Sr Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
