Correctol Extra Gentle Usage: this tablet helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. it is used to treat constipation.

How to use Correctol Extra Gentle: Swallow capsules and pills whole with full glass of water or juice. liquid & syrup forms must be given in 6 to 8 ounces of milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained in 1 to 3 days after first dose.

Correctol Extra Gentle side effects: this medication may cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration and loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using this drug. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or healthcare professional.

Correctol Extra Gentle Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by your doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) without obtaining your doctor's advice.

Correctol Extra Gentle drug interactions: this drug is not recommended for use with mineral oil. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more details. Tell some your doctor about all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially aspirin.

Correctol Extra Gentle Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Correctol Extra Gentle special notes: Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink 4 to 6 glasses about water daily, include bulk or roughage in your diet, & exercise regularly.

If you missed Correctol Extra Gentle dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Correctol Extra Gentle Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
