    Guaifenesin - oral

    Robafen Usage: this tablet is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in the lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.

    How to use Robafen: Take each dose of this med with a full glass about water. Water will also help break-up mucous and clear congestion. Drink plenty about fluids while taking this tablet, unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. do not take this drug for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your healthcare professional. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your doctor.

    Robafen side effects: this medication can cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.

    Robafen Precautions: If you have any of next health problems, consult your physician before using this drug: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're healthcare professional. it is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Robafen drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional of all medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: other cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect results of certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers aware you use it medicine before lab tests performed. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Robafen Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and unusually slow heartbeat.

    Robafen special notes: this medication comes in a variety of dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules and a syrup. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.

    If you missed Robafen dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Robafen Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this drug. do not store syrup in the refrigerator.
