    Guaifenesin with theophylline - oral

    (gweye-fen-eh-sin with thee-off-ih-lin)

    common brand names: Broncomar GG, Quibron, Slo-Phyllin GG, Theomar GG

    Ed Bron G Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Theophylline acts to widen air passages in lungs to make breathing easier. this combination pill is used to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Ed Bron G: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. this medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Notify your doctor if breathing difficulty continues or becomes worse.

    Ed Bron G side effects: Headache, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, anxiety, irritability or nervousness may occur 1st several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre physician. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat, skin rash, vomiting, flushing, sleeplessness, dizziness, tremors, mental confusion. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.

    Ed Bron G Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), high blood pressure, ulcers, seizures, glaucoma, allergies. Smoking can reduce the effects of this medication. Inform your doctor if you smoke before taking this. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. for small amounts about this medication found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Ed Bron G drug interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antibiotics, steroids, thyroid hormones, water tablets (diuretics), fluvoxamine (an SSRI antidepressant), birth control pills, St John's wort. Limit youre intake about caffeine-containing goods while taking this medication as it can increase the risk of side effects. Caffeine is found in coffee, tea, cola, cocoa & chocolate. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Ed Bron G Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, vomiting, fast heartbeat, restlessness, & seizures.

    Ed Bron G special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Ed Bron G dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Ed Bron G Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
