Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol Usage: this medication is used for the short-term treatment of constipation.

How to use Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking it pill. Laxatives must not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol side effects: this drug can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. this drug may cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. Its not harmful. Notify some your physician if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. it medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, Its important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber and roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Docusate Sodium W Casanthranol Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture. do not store in bathroom.
