Clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide - topical

Warning: this medication may infrequently cause severe, even fatal, intestinal problems (pseudomembranous colitis). Notify youre doctor immediately if you develop persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain, or blood/mucous in your stool. your doctor will decide if you require other treatment. These symptoms may occur weeks after stopping use about this pill. do not use anti-diarrhea products or narcotic pain medications if you have these symptoms. These products may make the symptoms worse. your pharmacist will monitor you closely while you are using this medication.
Benzaclin Usage: this combination drug is used to treat acne. it works by treating the bacterial infection that causes acne.
How to use Benzaclin: Before applying each dose, gently wash the affected areas, rinse the areas with warm water, & pat dry. Apply very small amount bit of it med to affected areas about the skin as directed by youre pharmacist. Gently rub this medication into the skin using your fingertips or an applicator. Wash your hands after each use. Avoid any contact of this med with youre eyes or inside your nose or mouth; doing so could cause irritation. Avoid contact of it medication with hair or colored fabric/clothing because it may bleach or cause discoloration.
Benzaclin side effects: Dry skin, redness/irritation, or itching/burning may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify some your healthcare professional. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: skin peeling, diarrhea, severe stomach pain, bloody stool. If you notice any another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Benzaclin Precautions: it medication is not recommended for use if you have a history of following medical conditions: certain inflammatory diseases about intestine/bowel (e.g., enteritis, ulcerative colitis, antibiotic associated colitis). Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially of: any allergies (especially to certain antibiotics such as lincomycin). this pill should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Based on information of related meds, this drug may pass in to breast milk. Therefore, breast-feeding while using this pill is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast- feeding.
Benzaclin drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially: other topical acne products, other antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin). do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Benzaclin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Benzaclin special notes: don't share this medication with others.
If you missed Benzaclin dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near clock of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Benzaclin Storage: Store at room temperature as directed on the packaging. After 2 months, discard any unused portion about it drug.
