Antihistamines with decongestants - oral

Sildec Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Sildec: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify youre healthcare professional. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Sildec side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Sildec Precautions: Tell your physician some your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, hypertension, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to child younger than six years about age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Sildec medication interactions: Tell you're physician what medications you take, especially of: hypertension medications, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, another cold or allergy tablet. do not take this med if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Sildec Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose at child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Sildec special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Sildec dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Sildec Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
