    Prenatal vitamins with iron/folic acid - oral chewable

    warning: Accidental overdose about iron-containing products is leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of child. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.

    Prenatal 19 Usage: Vitamins are building blocks about the body. They are used to prevent or treat vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses, or during pregnancy.

    How to use Prenatal 19: Chew & swallow it med as directed. Food may affect absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your physician. Wait at least two hours between taking iron & antacids, as well as tetracycline (e.g., minocycline) or quinolone (e.g., ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin) antibiotics.

    Prenatal 19 side effects: it medication can cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult some your doctor if any about these effects persist or become severe. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if you have any about these very unlikely but serious side effects: stomach pain. An allergic reaction to this vitamin product is unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

    Prenatal 19 Precautions: Tell youre physician youre medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.g., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B-12 deficiency), intestinal diseases (e.g., ulcers or colitis). Accidental overdose about iron-containing products canbe very dangerous, even fatal. Keep this tablet out about the reach about kid. If overdose occurs, call a physician or poison control center immediately.

    Prenatal 19 tablet interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially about: phenytoin, chloramphenicol, penicillamine, methyldopa, levodopa, cimetidine. Because iron can cause false results in tests for blood in the stools, tell the physician or laboratory personnel that you take iron-containing vitamins. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.

    Prenatal 19 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.

    Prenatal 19 special notes: Iron can cause stools to turn black in color. this is due to unabsorbed iron and is not harmful.

    If you missed Prenatal 19 dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; don't take if it is almost time for following dose. Instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Prenatal 19 Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. Keep out of the reach of child.
