Potassium para-aminobenzoate - oral

Paba Usage: this medication is used to treat certain skin disorders. Also known as PABA, it is used to make some your skin more flexible.

How to use Paba: it med should be taken with food. tablets must be taken with plenty about liquid to help minimize stomach upset. powder must be diluted in water as directed before swallowing.

Paba side effects: this pill can cause stomach upset and loss about appetite. If this occurs, stop taking this medication until your stomach feels better again. Notify some your doctor if you develop: fever, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or doctor.

Paba Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney disease, diabetes or low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), allergies (especially medication allergies). Make sure your healthcare professional knows if you pregnant or nursing before taking this drug.

Paba medication interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: dapsone, sulfa drugs (e.g., sulfisoxazole). don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Paba Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea and vomiting.

Paba special notes: this drug is not vitamin, but small amounts found naturally in cereal, eggs, milk and meats.

If you missed Paba dose: Take missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost clock for next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Paba Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
