Novasal Usage: this medication is an anti-inflammatory agent used to relieve pain, reduce swelling (inflammation) about arthritis & reduce fever.

How to use Novasal: Take it drug by mouth with food or full glass of milk or water (8oz. or 240 ml) as directed by your healthcare professional. the dosage is based on your medical condition & response to therapy. If you are taking it drug for pain or fever & they're is no improvement within 5 days, stop taking this drug & consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Novasal side effects: Heartburn, nausea, vomiting, & headache may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify youre healthcare professional. Tell your physician immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, ringing in the ears, changes in you're hearing. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking this drug & consult your doctor or physician immediately: bloody or black stools, coffee-ground vomit, persistent stomach/abdominal pain. An allergic reaction to this medication is unlikely but seek immeditial healthcare professional attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice any another side effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Novasal Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist your medical history, especially about: kidney or liver disease, stomach/intestinal ulcers, any allergies (especially to aspirin). this drug can cause stomach bleeding. daily use about alcohol & this medication may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of the med. children & teenagers shouldn't take this medication if they have chicken pox, influenza, or any undiagnosed illness without 1'st consulting doctor about Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness. it pill should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. Magnesium salicylate is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Novasal drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, phenylbutazone, 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin, heparin), aspirin, other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen), ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril, enalapril), acetazolamide, oral diabetic medicine (e.g., chlorpropamide, glyburide, tolbutamide), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), methotrexate, anti-seizure medication (e.g., phenytoin, valproic acid), tetracycline antibiotics (e.g., doxycycline, minocycline, tetracycline). cash labels on every youre medicines because they may contain aspirin or aspirin-like NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen). Ask your pharmacist about safe use of these products. this drug may interfere with certain laboratory tests. Inform laboratory personnel that you taking it med. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Novasal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, severe vomiting, change in amount of urine, rapid & shallow breathing.

Novasal special notes: do not share it pill with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor for side effects or response to treatment. If you have diabetes, this medication may affect youre blood sugar and may cause false test results with few urine glucose tests (e.g., Clinistix, Clinitest). money with your healthcare professional before adjusting the dose of youre diabetes medicine.

If you missed Novasal dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Novasal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
