Neomycin/polymyxin/dexamethasone - ophthalmic drops

Methadex Usage: this medication is used to treat eye infections.
How to use Methadex: since best effects, this drug must be used as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result in a reinfection. Apply eye drops to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch your eye. Shake eye drops before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. see downward and gently close some your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger in the corner of eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink and don't rub the eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Methadex side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two when applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform some your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: skin rash, eye itching/burning, eye redness/pain, eye swelling, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Methadex Precautions: Tell you're doctor you're medical history, especially of: other eye problems, any allergies (especially to antibiotics or sulfites). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician.
Methadex drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Methadex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Methadex special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult you're doctor.
If you missed Methadex dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Methadex Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
