Iferex 150 Forte Usage: Iron supplements used to treat or prevent low blood levels of iron (e.g., for anemia or during pregnancy).

How to use Iferex 150 Forte: it drug is best taken on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals, with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) about water. If iron upsets your stomach, take this with food or after meals, with full glass of water. Sustained-release capsules & tablets must be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew them as side effects may be increased. Take meds or capsules of iron with full glass of water. don't lie down for 30 minutes after taking the med or capsule. the liquid forms should be diluted in glass of water or juice & sipped through a straw to prevent staining of teeth. suspension forms should be shaken well before each use; take them along with full glass about water. do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Iferex 150 Forte side effects: may cause stomach cramps, constipation, heartburn, nausea, & vomiting first several days as youre body adjusts to the medication. Iron may cause the stools to turn black in color. it is due to unabsorbed iron & isn't harmful. Inform you're doctor if you develop: severe stomach pains, chest pain, clammy skin, bluish-colored lips or fingernails. Iferex 150 Forte Precautions: do not take ferrous sulfate (iron) without consulting a pharmacist if you have: ulcers, colitis, intestinal disease. Eggs & milk decrease iron absorption. Iferex 150 Forte drug interactions: Tell you're pharmacist about all prescription & nonprescription tablets you may use, especially of: chloramphenicol, penicillamine, methyldopa, levodopa, cimetidine, quinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin). Avoid taking iron at the same clock as antacids or tetracycline antibiotics. Wait at least two hours between taking iron & an antacid or tetracycline. Because iron-containing products can cause false results with certain tests that check since blood in stools, tell doctor or laboratory personnel you take iron. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or healthcare professional approval.

If you missed Iferex 150 Forte dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Iferex 150 Forte Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this drug. Keep out of the reach about child.
