Guaifenesin Er Usage: this medication is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.

How to use Guaifenesin Er: Take each dose of this medication with full glass of water. Water will also help break-up mucous and clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this pill, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. do not take this drug for a chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your pharmacist. If cough lasts for more then one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your physician.

Guaifenesin Er side effects: it medication can cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're physician. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or pharmacist.

Guaifenesin Er Precautions: If you have any of the next health problems, consult you're doctor before using this drug: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this med should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. If you missed Guaifenesin Er dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Guaifenesin Er Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this pill. do not store syrup in refrigerator.
