    Stool softeners/stimulant combination laxatives - oral

    Simular Drugs : Correct, Correct Tabs, Corrective Laxative, Corrective Women Laxative, Correctol, Correctol Extra Gentle

    Correct Usage: this med is used for the short-term treatment of constipation.

    How to use Correct: Take each dose with a full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

    Correct side effects: this med may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. this tablet can cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. it isn't harmful. Notify your doctor if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Correct Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. this drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Consult your healthcare professional before using any medication while breast-feeding.

    Correct tablet interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of some medications, it is important to tell some your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Correct Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

    Correct special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, It's important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase you're intake of fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

    If you missed Correct dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if this is near clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Correct Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture. do not store in the bathroom.
