Ri Tussin Usage: this drug is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm and mucous at the lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Ri Tussin: Take each dose of this med with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty about fluids while taking it tablet, unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. do not take this med for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your doctor. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult youre physician.
Ri Tussin side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Ri Tussin Precautions: If you have any about the next health problems, consult your healthcare professional before using this medication: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. it medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Ri Tussin drug interactions: Tell your physician about all the medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: another cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect the results about certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. don't start or stop any medicine with-out physician or pharmacist approval.
Ri Tussin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and unusually slow heartbeat.

If you missed Ri Tussin dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Ri Tussin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms of it drug. don't store syrup in refrigerator.
