Eye Drops Usage: this medication is used in eye to relieve redness, burning & irritation due to dry eyes, allergies or minor irritations.
How to use Eye Drops: this medication is for use in eye as directed. One or two drops are placed in the affected eyes up to four times day. Apply eye drops as follows: Wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch you're eye. Shake eye drops well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close you're eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at the corner of the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the drug from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Eye Drops side effects: this drug may temporarily sting or burn some your eye for minute or two when 1st applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome, inform youre doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for several minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify you're healthcare professional if you develop: skin rash, eye pain, swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Eye Drops Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially med allergies). this medication should be used with caution during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor.
Eye Drops drug interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: other eye medications. don't start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Eye Drops Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Eye Drops special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult you're pharmacist.
If you missed Eye Drops dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not apply it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Eye Drops Storage: Close the container tightly after each use. Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
