Verazinc Usage: it medication is mineral used to treat or prevent low levels of zinc.
Verazinc can be used also since: this medication may also be used to promote wound healing.
How to use Verazinc: Take this medication by mouth as directed by your pharmacist or on the package. Take this medication 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. May be taken with food if this upsets your stomach. Best to swallow whole. do not crush or chew. Avoid milk, bran, grains, or cereals within 2 hours of taking it medicine. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at same times each day.
Verazinc side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, heartburn may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify some your physician or doctor promptly. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: fever, chills, sore throat, sores in mouth, unusual tiredness, weakness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Verazinc Precautions: this drug should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or doctor if you have: low blood levels of copper. Before using it drug, tell you're doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially about: any allergies. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using it medication. it medication passes into breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Verazinc drug interactions: Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: penicillamine, quinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin), tetracyclines, phosphorus containing goods. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Verazinc Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, and shortness of breath.
Verazinc special notes: do not share this drug with others. It's important to maintain well balanced diet while taking this medicine. Foods containing great sources of zinc include lean red meats, seafood, peas, and beans. Laboratory tests (e.g., zinc & copper levels) must be performed periodically to monitor your progress or check for side effects. Consult you're pharmacist for more info.
If you missed Verazinc dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of the next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Verazinc Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. don't store in bathroom. Keep all medicines away from child & pets.
