Pulexn DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Pulexn DM: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase you're dose or take this more much times than directed. Capsules & long-acting meds should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased.

Pulexn DM side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first few days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're physician. Notify your doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this medication: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this med makes you feel dizzy. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Pulexn DM Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your doctor. since small amounts of this medication are found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Pulexn DM drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.

Pulexn DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, and seizures.

Pulexn DM special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this pill. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Pulexn DM dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Pulexn DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in bathroom.
