Lupron Depot 3 Month Usage: Leuprolide has various uses, among them are: treatment for prostate cancer, early puberty in children & for problems of uterus in women.

Lupron Depot 3 Month can be used also for: this tablet may also be used for breast or ovarian cancer.

How to use Lupron Depot 3 Month: this drug is injected into a muscle (I.M.) and must be used under close medical supervision. this long acting form of leuprolide is called a depot. It's slowly released into bloodstream & is given at various intervals. the dosing frequency depends on which product was prescribed by youre physician. If you directed to inject this drug yourself, make sure you know exactly how to use it & how often. Consult your pharmacist or pharmacist if you are uncertain or have any questions. do not stop using this medication without some your doctor's permission.

Lupron Depot 3 Month side effects: this medication may cause nausea, vomiting, hot flashes, night sweats; bone, joint or muscle pain; swelling of hands, feet or ankles; headache; vaginal dryness, inflammation or discharge; reduced sexual desire, mental/mood changes, dizziness, drowsiness, weight gain, inflamed gums, trouble swallowing, persistent pain at injection site, acne or difficulty urinating. Notify some your healthcare professional promptly if these symptoms persist or worsen. Notify you're healthcare professional promptly if you develop any of the following symptoms: rapid heartbeat, chest pain, fever, unusual weakness, testicular or prostate pain (men), vaginal bleeding (women). Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: severe headache, vision changes, severe drowsiness, unusual or one-sided weakness. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this med, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Lupron Depot 3 Month Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: urinary problems, alcohol or smoking dependence, bone diseases, cancer/lesions of spine, abnormal vaginal bleeding, any allergies you may have. Limit alcohol intake, as it may intensify drug side effects. Caution is advised when performing tasks requiring alertness (e.g., driving), as it drug may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Leuprolide shouldnot be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your physician immediately. Discuss birth control methods with your doctor. Its not known if leuprolide is excreted into breast milk. Because effects of leuprolide on nursing infant are unknown, don't breast-feed. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
