Perisol Usage: this medication is a mouth rinse that kills bacteria. Its used to treat redness, swelling and bleeding of inflamed gums (gingivitis).
How to use Perisol: this drug is best started after thorough teeth cleaning by a dentist or dental hygienist. this tablet is used as an oral rinse usually at the morning & evening after brushing teeth. Measure out proper dose as directed, then swish it around in the mouth for 30 seconds or as directed. than spit out. do not swallow med. do not rinse mouth, brush teeth or eat immediately after using this drug.
Perisol side effects: this drug may cause staining of the teeth or tongue. the stains can be removed by your dentist. Changes in taste, mouth irritation or mouth sores may occur. If this pill is accidentally swallowed, stomach upset or nausea may occur. in the unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this med, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms may include trouble breathing, rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Perisol Precautions: Before using it drug, tell your caregiver your medical/dental history including: any drug allergies. Tell your caregiver if you pregnant before using this medication. this is not known if this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult your caregiver before breast-feeding. this medication is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
Perisol med interactions: Even though this medication is not meant to be swallowed and no interactions would be expected, tell you're caregiver of every prescription and nonprescription drugs you use. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.
Perisol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slurred speech, sleepiness, & stumbling or staggering walk.
Perisol special notes: Dental checkups recommended all six months. do not share this tablet with others.
If you missed Perisol dose: Use any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for following dose. If It's clock since the next dose, skip missed dose and resume youre regular schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.
Perisol Storage: Store at room temperature below 77 degrees F (below 25 degrees C). do not freeze.
