How to use Metaproterenol Sulfate: this medication is inhaled into lungs using special breathing equipment. the medication must be diluted using normal saline as directed. health care professional will demonstrate the proper way to prepare the medication and use equipment. Make sure you understand how to operate machine & ask any questions you may have. Use this drug as directed. do not increase you're dose or use this more frequently than directed. Excessive use may lead to a loss of effectiveness while increasing the chance for side effects. don't stop using it tablet without first consulting your healthcare professional. If you find yourself using this more than usual, or your symptoms do not improve or worsen after using it, contact your physician immediately.

Metaproterenol Sulfate side effects: Tremor, nervousness, shakiness, headache, nausea, heartburn, lightheadedness, difficulty sleeping, unusual taste in mouth, hoarseness or dry throat may occur 1st some days as you're body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: rapid heartbeats, dizziness, chest pain, cough. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it med, seek medical attention immediately.
