Novahistine Dh Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Novahistine Dh: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack.

Novahistine Dh side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur first some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. Novahistine Dh Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

If you missed Novahistine Dh dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time since the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Novahistine Dh Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at the bathroom.
