Guaifenesin Usage: this medication is used to relieve dry cough & helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.

How to use Guaifenesin: Take each dose of this drug with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug, unless some your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. do not take it tablet for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your pharmacist. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult you're physician.

Guaifenesin side effects: this pill can cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.

Guaifenesin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.

If you missed Guaifenesin dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Guaifenesin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms of this medication. do not store syrup in the refrigerator.
