Hm Tussin Cough & Cold Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination pill is used to treat a cough & relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Hm Tussin Cough & Cold: it drug is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Swallow long acting pills and capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because long action will be destroyed and the chance of side effects will be increased. Take it medication as prescribed. do not increase you're dose or take this more often than directed.
Hm Tussin Cough & Cold side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.
Hm Tussin Cough & Cold Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any drug allergies. USD this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. this pill may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult some your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Hm Tussin Cough & Cold drug interactions: Tell your doctor about every prescription & nonprescription meds you use, especially: medication for blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Hm Tussin Cough & Cold Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements about eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change at behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or fast heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, large pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Hm Tussin Cough & Cold special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Hm Tussin Cough & Cold dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Hm Tussin Cough & Cold Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
