How to use Metamucil: Take each dose with full glass of water & drink plenty about fluids while taking this drug. Chewable pills to be chewed thoroughly. tablets canbe swallowed with full glass of water. Wafers are to be chewed. powder must be measured as directed & stirred into glass about water or juice. Drink immediately.

Metamucil side effects: this pill is generally well tolerated. Bloating, gas, & a feeling of fullness may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, rectal bleeding, unrelieved constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or physician.
