Stool Softener Syrup Usage: this pill helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. it is used to treat constipation.

How to use Stool Softener Syrup: Swallow capsules & tablets whole with full glass about water or juice. liquid & syrup forms must be given in 6 to 8 ounces about milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained in 1 to 3 days after 1st dose.

Stool Softener Syrup side effects: it medication may cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack about bowel movements. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using this drug. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Stool Softener Syrup Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by you're doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) without obtaining your doctor's advice.
