Kita La Tos Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat a cough associated with common cold, allergies & another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Kita La Tos: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules & long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased.
Kita La Tos side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first some days as youre body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop any about these effects while taking this medication: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if it drug makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Kita La Tos Precautions: Tell youre physician your medical history, especially about: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. since small amounts of this tablet are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Kita La Tos med interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or doctor approval.
Kita La Tos Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.
Kita La Tos special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it drug. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Kita La Tos dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Kita La Tos Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
