Alconefrin 50 Usage: this medication promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffiness. it is used to relieve symptoms associated with cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. it is also used to relieve plugged ears.

How to use Alconefrin 50: this pill is used in the nose as directed. To apply nasal drops, first blow your nose to help improve penetration of the medication. Lie flat on a bed or couch with your head hanging over edge. Apply correct number of drops to each nostril affected being careful not to touch container to inside of nostril. Move your head from side to side for minute or two. do not use this more often than directed or increase your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use of this medication can actually increase nasal congestion.

Alconefrin 50 side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying about the nostrils, & altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of hands, tremors, unusual weakness. this pill may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or doctor.

Alconefrin 50 Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: history of heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, seizure disorder, glaucoma, any allergies (especially to sulfites). the elderly and kid may be more susceptible to the effects of this medication. Use this with caution. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your pharmacist. since small amounts of this medication are found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Alconefrin 50 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat.

If you missed Alconefrin 50 dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Alconefrin 50 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom. do not share container with anyone else. Throw away container when medication is no longer required.
